Glenn Crooks - @GlennCrooks
Glenn Crooks is beginning his fourth season as a radio commentator with NYCFC and is the producer and host of the weekly program Soccer City on WNYE. He is also co-host of the Soccer in the City podcast. Crooks hosts The Coaching Academy on SiriusXM FC where he was the sideline reporter for MLS Cup in 2015. He is a commentator for men’s and women’s soccer on the Big Ten Network and FIOS1 Sports. He is also a contributing writer for Pro Soccer USA covering NYCFC and MLS. Crooks spent 14 years as the head women’s soccer coach at Rutgers University where he coached two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, Carli Lloyd.
Tom Kolker - @tkolker
Tom Kolker returns for his fourth season as a play-by-play voice of New York City FC. Kolker is also a play-by-play voice for the University of Portland basketball and baseball, and serves as a radio host and news anchor for Alpha Media and Bonneville International. Prior to joining NYCFC, Kolker spent three years as a play-by-play voice for Georgetown University and two years as the producer for the Brooklyn Nets radio broadcast.
Dave Masur - @davemasur
Dave Masur begins his first season with NYCFC in 2017. Masur has played 15 years in various professional leagues in the US – starting his undergraduate career at Rutgers before being drafted by the New York Cosmos. Dave went on to become the head coach at St. John’s, where he won a national championship, made four appearances in the NCAA College Cup, and reached 20 NCAA Tournaments. Dave Masur ranks in the top 10 among Division I head men’s soccer coach in terms of victories (392) and winning percentage (.683).
Matt Lawrence - @mattyjlawrence
Matt Lawrence starts his second season with NYCFC having moved to Manhattan from England in December 2016. Matt worked in the U.K. as a color commentator for Sky Sports on the 2016 MLS season. He also worked for BT, BBC and Talksport as an analyst and color commentator on all English soccer leagues, as well as La Liga, Bundesliga and Champions League and Europa League games. Matt went to Hartwick College in upstate NY on a soccer scholarship and studied American literature before returning to England to pursue an 18-year professional soccer career. He played over 650 games for Millwall, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Gillingham and Wycombe Wanderers.
Roberto Abramowitz - @RobAbramowitz
Roberto Abramowitz has been covering soccer for close to 35 years with experience to Spanish language broadcasts for the New York Knicks and the NFL Network. Abramowitz is a commentator for ESPN Deportes and ESPN International for 22 years, he is also the Editor of Fútbol Mundial magazine.
Ariel Judas - @ArielJudas
Ariel Judas is an editor and reporter for FutbolMLS.com, Major League Soccer's Spanish content website. Judas has been covering soccer for almost 15 years in Argentina, Spain and the United States. He spent six years in Barcelona -where he worked for Radio Marca- and more recently he worked for the E:60 Deportes investigative team at ESPN Deportes.
