New York City FC is back on the road to take on the Colorado Rapids in the Mile High City.
As the Road Blues look to get back to their winning ways, James Sands returns to Dome Torrent’s Starting XI after spending time on the Injury Report with a broken arm.
The young homegrown makes his comeback at Dicks Sporting Goods Park, where he made his MLS debut in City Blue back in 2017.
Along with Sands, Ofori is also back in the starting lineup as both players step up for City while Alex Ring and Maxime Chanot are both suspended with yellow card accumulation for tonight’s match.
Alexandru Mitriță will be available on the substitutes list for Torrent, after nursing a hamstring injury. He is joined by Gary Mackay-Steven, who made his debut against the Red Bulls, and could make an appearance once again as NYCFC looks to bring home the three points.
Meanwhile Torrent is sticking with Maxi Moralez, Taty Castellanos, and Héber to lead the charge up top.
