NYCFC Training Center to be Unveiled to Fans in Orangeburg

CFA Fan Event

It’s almost time to welcome you into our new home in Orangeburg.

On April 26, 80 City Members will have the opportunity to attend a special fan event at the new NYCFC training center in Rockland County.

The new facility, designed by Rafael Viñoly, the architect responsible for Manchester City FC and Melbourne City FC’s City Football Academy facilities, will open its doors for a special event to mark the launch.

Shortly after ribbon cutting, which will take place when the team returns to training following the trip to Portland, 80 City Members will be given a behind the scenes tour and the opportunity to watch an open training session led by Head Coach Patrick Vieira.

Founding Members will receive an email on Monday with more details, while Cityzens spots will be available on the portal on Wednesday April 18 at 6.30pm when an email will be sent.

Approval for construction on this former STEJ site on Old Orangeburg Road was granted in July 2016 by the Orangeburg Planning Board and construction commenced in the Fall of the same year.

The 25,000 square foot building consists of a one and a half regulation-sized grass field, team offices, space for player rehabilitation and welfare, amongst other amenities.

We will have details on more exciting events, including open training sessions and facility tours coming up on NYCFC.com very soon, as well as behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the new facility in the days preceding this event on club channels.
