New York City FC has confirmed that Queens native and American Idol fan favorite, Pia Toscano, will sing the National Anthem at the May 21st match at Yankee Stadium against the Red Bulls at the New York Derby.

The 27-year-old has such hits as “You’ll Be King” and “PyRo."
Toscano joins the likes of Ashanti, Anthony Ramos, Bernie Williams, "MJ" Jimenez, and the cast members of the Broadway show On The Town, who have all performed the National Anthem at New York City FC matches.
