New York City FC have seven games to make history.
Should the Club qualify for the playoffs, New York City FC would be just the second true expansion club (excluding Houston that played the season before in San Jose) to make the Major League Soccer playoffs since 1998.
The Seattle Sounders advanced to the Western Conference semifinals in their inaugural season in the league in 2009.
"I look at this as a tremendous challenge and opportunity for us to do something truly special which is win enough games to make the playoffs," New York City FC head coach Jason Kreis said.

FC Dallas has won five of its last six home matches (5-1-0) and has just one defeat in the last nine matches at Toyota Stadium.
During that stretch, the club has posted four clean sheets and has allowed more than one goal just twice.
