Josh Saunders added another title to his already impressive North American soccer resume this weekend.

The New York City FC keeper capped a phenomenal loan stint with San Antonio Scorpions by leading the club to their first ever NASL title in franchise history on Saturday night in Texas.

After Walter Ramirez equalized for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the 79th minute, Saunders was able to keep the Strikers at bay down the stretch to lock down the win in front of nearly 8,000 fans at Toyota Field in San Antonio. The NASL title is Saunders' fourth career championship after winning three MLS Cup titles (San Jose in 2003, LA Galaxy in 2011-12).

Cogratulations to Josh on a phenomenal season in Texas! Next up: preseason training ahead New York City FC's inaugural season.
