Máximo Carrizo

2022: Signed on his 14th birthday in February 2022, Academy product Carrizo became the youngest first-team signing in MLS history. The starlet penned a contract through to 2027 with an option year in 2028. Our tenth homegrown signing, he joined up with the senior squad for our pre-season camp and continued his development with NYCFC II in our maiden MLS NEXT Pro campaign, playing seven times.

2021: Starring in the U-15 MLS NEXT Playoffs, he earned a call-up to the USA’s U-15 Youth National Team camp in Chula Vista, California.

2018: After impressing with local team FC Westchester, he joined the NYCFC Academy as an U-12 player.

2017: A Manhattan, NYC native of Argentinian heritage, Carrizo attended an NYCFC Summer Camp at nine years old, after impressing with local team FC Westchester.
