Three NYCFC players have been selected to represent their nations in the upcoming round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ronald Matarrita and Tony Taylor have both received calls from the governing bodies of Costa Rica and Panama respectively, while Maxime Chanot will join up with Luxembourg for their match against the Netherlands.

Matarrita, who has represented Costa Rica on 15 occasions to date, will vie for a spot in the XI for qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago and the United States on November 11 and 15.

Costa Rica finished top of their preliminary qualifying group, winning all but one of their six games.

Taylor’s Panama are also through to the final round and the striker will be hoping to make his international debut in the games against Honduras and Mexico on November 11 and 15.

Maxime made his Luxembourg debut three years ago and has since appeared on 22 occasions, scoring one goal.

He will hope to play his part in springing an upset on the Netherlands to clinch Luxembourg's first win in World Cup qualifying at the fourth time of asking on November 13.
