New York City Football Club (NYCFC) is set to host its seventh consecutive Pride Night on Saturday, June 3 vs. New England Revolution at Yankee Stadium. In partnership with the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) and Athlete Ally, the Club’s June 3 match will kick off the Club’s Pride Month activations and initiatives to celebrate, support and welcome New York’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Fan Fest

Prior to the match, NYCFC will host a Pride edition Fan Fest at 161st Street, outside Yankee Stadium. Fans will have the chance to write on a living art wall at the Fan Fest where they can write messages of support for the LGBTQIA+ community, which will be donated to HMI. The Fan Fest will also feature a clothing drive in partnership with HMI. Fans’ donations will be given to HMI’s participants, the nation’s oldest organization supporting LGBTQIA+ youth.

Pride Pre-Match Activations and Retail

Ahead of kickoff, NYCFC players will wear this year’s Pride pre-match top, which will be available in the team store starting this weekend alongside this year’s NYCFC Pride scarf, designed by New York City-based artist Marisa Kurk. The first 5,000 fans to enter Yankee Stadium will receive a Pride-themed bucket hat, also designed by Marisa Kurk.

Additionally, to help kick off the match, drag queen Jan Sport will perform the National Anthem.

Ticket Donation Offer

NYCFC is also offering fans the opportunity to purchase tickets with $5 of that purchase going back to HMI. Fans can purchase their tickets through this offer here.

Brad Sims, NYCFC CEO, said: “Our commitment to equality and access to soccer extends beyond one match, however our Pride Match is an important moment to show our support and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. Our Club remains as committed as ever to creating an inclusive environment for everyone, and we’re honored to host our seventh Pride Match this Saturday.”
