New York City Football Club (NYCFC) is set to host its second Noche Latina match, presented by Midea on Wednesday, September 20 vs. Orlando City SC at Citi Field. The match will celebrate and recognize the heritage, contributions and influence of Latin Americans in New York City and kicks off the Club’s activations and initiatives during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Fan Fest, presented by Fidelis Care

Prior to the match, NYCFC will host a Noche Latina fan fest outside Citi Field at Mets Plaza, presented by Fidelis Care. Fans will have the chance to see performances from salsa dancers and a conga player, with a dedicated dance floor for fans to join in on the festivities. The fan fest will also feature a food truck, DJ, games and activities, pop-up retail shop, activations from NYCFC partners including Midea, Inter&Co, Mamita’s Ices, Segway and Fidelis Care and more.

Match Activations and Retail

Ahead of kickoff, NYCFC will wear this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month Pre-Match Top, which will be available at The Mets Field Level Team Store. As the presenting partner of this year’s Noche Latina match, Midea and NYCFC are also hosting the following activations in-stadium:

  • Noche Latina-themed rally towel giveaway for the first 10,000 fans to enter Citi Field
  • 360-photo booth in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda
  • Midea air-fryer giveaway through a half-time lucky row challenge

This year's Noche Latina match will also mark the second year of NYCFC’s partnership with Capitanes del Futuro - a unique youth leadership program. The initiative harnesses the passion of soccer, helping to prepare the next generation of Hispanic leaders. It was launched by organizations including P&G brands such as Gillette, Always and Gain, Major League Soccer (MLS), Hispanic Star and HLX+. This year’s participants in the program will be honored during half-time of the match and take part in several activities that include a private tour of Citi Field.

Brad Sims, NYCFC CEO, said: “As New York City Football Club, the team for one of the largest Latin populations in the country, we’re honored to host our Noche Latina match this Wednesday.

“Latin Americans have made an incredible, lasting impact in both New York City and throughout the entire country, and tonight’s match is a celebration and recognition of this. Alongside our partners, we welcome everyone to join us at Citi Field for our Noche Latina match.”
