New York, N.Y., October 12, 2022 – Following the conclusion of the MLB National League Wild Card series this past weekend, New York City Football Club (NYCFC) can today confirm that its Audi MLS Cup Playoffs First Round Match against Inter Miami CF, presented by Socios.com, will be moved to Citi Field.
Previously, Citi Field was not available for this match due to the Mets’ involvement in the MLB Playoffs. However, following the results of the National League Wild Card series this past weekend, Citi Field is now available.
The Club will always do everything in its power to play its matches within the five boroughs and is grateful to our partners at the Mets for helping make this venue change a possibility.
NYCFC will host sixth seed Inter Miami on Monday, October 17 at Citi Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm ET, with coverage on FS1 and Fox Deportes.
