New York City FC has teamed up with beloved children’s television show Sesame Street for the August edition of the “Love to Learn” campaign. David Villa visited Cookie Monster and Rosita to film a segment demonstrating the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
The video, which debuted today, Monday, August 8 at 10:00AM EDT is part of Sesame Street’s six-month campaign featuring various celebrities and YouTube personalities to teach kids important life lessons. All videos are available on Sesame Street’s YouTube Channel.
Villa joins an impressive list of athletes who have appeared on the long-time favorite show including fellow soccer legend David Beckham and New York sports stars Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, amongst others.
