New York City Football Club are back on home soil this weekend.

The Boys in Blue welcome Atlanta United to Yankee Stadium on Saturday, April 8 in a 7:30pm ET kick-off in the first of three consecutive home games.

Here are the Keys to the Match, presented by Ford...

Home Sweet Home

Back in the Bronx! Nick Cushing's side return to New York turf following two tough away trips, looking to pick up where we left off.

The City Boys claimed two wins from our opening two games at Yankee Stadium, defeating Inter Miami CF and D.C. United to continue our impressive form at home.

With six home victories in a row - and 15 in our last 21 - NYCFC are creating a fortress, inspired by the ever-present City faithful.

Spurred by home comforts and a positive result at New England Revolution, the squad will have sights set on maximum points from this upcoming triple header, eager to build momentum and issue a strong statement of intent.

Tickets for the game are now available. Don't miss your chance to cheer on the City Boys!

Atlanta Action

City have a fine recent record against the Five Stripes, unbeaten in six with four wins, including two of the last three meetings.

Overall, the two sides have met on 13 occasions with NYCFC edging the series with five victories to United's four.

The most recent encounter saw the two sides lock horns on 2022 Decision Day, with Cushing's side triumphing 2-1 to clinch third place in the Eastern Conference, thanks to goals from Gabriel Pereira and Héber.

Securing four wins from their opening six fixtures in 2023, Atlanta have enjoyed a strong start to the new campaign, sitting in second spot after defeating Red Bulls last time out.

The Georgia outfit have netted 13 goals this term - the second-highest across MLS - and have recorded one victory and one loss on the road so far. Thiago Almada leads the Eastern scoring charts with four.

Home Debuts?

City's two-game run on the road saw two new recruits step out in City colors for the first time in Richy Ledezma and Gabe Segal, while Stephen Turnbull also earned more gametime from the bench after making his debut earlier in the season against Chicago Fire.

After positive showings, all three will be pushing for more minutes this week, looking to take to the field for their home debuts, and put on a performance in front of the NYCFC fans.

Competition for places is fierce with Cushing impressed with the squad's effort and intensity in training, and with only Tayvon Gray missing through injury for the visit to New England, the Head Coach will have plenty of options to choose from.

Ahead of this weekend's clash, Cushing will share a squad update in a press conference on Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned to NYCFC.com and our official social media channels for updates.
