New York City FC is partnering with Athlete Ally at the club’s Pride Night on Thursday, June 6.
Athlete Ally is a leading national nonprofit working at the intersection of sport and LGBTQ equality to end the structural and systemic oppression that isolates, excludes and endangers LGBTQ people in sport.
Prior to the kickoff, Athlete Ally Founder Hudson Taylor and Retired MLS Goalkeeper and Athlete Ally Executive Director Matt Pacifici, will be on a panel hosted by the nonprofit to discuss LGBTQ inclusion and inclusivity throughout sports and society.
Pacifici is an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights, and each brings a unique perspective on leading advocacy throughout soccer.
