New York City FC defender Ethan White has another passion outside of soccer: photography. When Ethan’s not at training you can often find him in New York City with his DSLR camera in hand taking photos.
He said, “I’d like to thank the US Open organization for having me at such an amazing event. I’ve enjoyed photography for years now and always dreamed of shooting on that stage."
With the U.S. Open Tennis Championship taking place in Queens, New York, these past two weeks, Ethan had a unique opportunity to be on the other side of the camera and photograph some of tennis’ biggest stars.
The defender was given photo credentials to see Caroline Wozniacki and world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who both advanced in the tournament. His photos were then featured on the U.S. Open Facebook page in their “Guest Perspectives at the Open” gallery.
Take a look at some of his best shots from the evening.
