The XI | Maxi Returns for Atlanta

New York City FC is back on the road to take on Atlanta United for the first time since the 2018 playoffs.

As NYCFC looks to get a good result against the defending champions, Dome Torrent has made four changes to the Starting XI - beginning with Maxi Moralez.

Our resident Spidey makes his return to the lineup, for Gary Mackay-Steven, after taking it easy in City's past two matches. Moralez sat out against Real Salt Lake and kicked off the night against the Dynamo on the subs list.

The Argentine is a difference maker for City and he contributes to the team's confidence on the pitch.

As Torrent said, "Everybody knows how important he is for us. When he plays, the team plays different. He can score. We play with more confidence when Maxi is on the field."

Along with Moralez, Taty Castellanos, Anton Tinnerholm, and Ebenezer Ofori are back in the starting lineup for this Eastern Conference Showdown.

Castellanos, who had an explosive performance against Houston scoring two goals in the span of ten minutes, will take on the role of number nine in place of HĂ©ber.

Tinnerholm who was rested against the Dynamo is back in the XI as well replacing Eric Miller, who will be available on the subs list.

Finally, Ofori is back in the midfield to contribute to City's defensive approach of slowing down United's attack.

Don't miss out on the excitement as these two Eastern Conference teams battle it out for the second spot on the table. Tune in to ESPN at 4 pm ET or hit up the Joshua Tree in Midtown for the official watch party.
