New York City FC is back in the Boogie Down to celebrate Manhattan Borough night and take on Sporting Kansas City for the first time this season.
As the Boys in Blue look to get their second consecutive win, Dome Torrent makes three changes to his starting lineup. Maxime Chanot and captain, Alex Ring, return to The XI after serving a one game suspension for yellow card accumulation. They will be starting in place of Sebastian Ibeagha and Ebenezer Ofori. Meanwhile, Ofori will still be available for Torrent on the bench.
Alexandru Mitriță is back in the front line for NYCFC, the forward started on the substitutes list against the Colorado Rapids after making his comeback from injury. The Romanian scored the winning goal against Colorado, helping City to another three points.
