New York City FC's Summer of Soccer is in full swing with the U.S. Open Cup, the Gold Cup, Copa America, and Academy post-season are all underway.

Here's what you might have missed from this action packed week...

U.S. Open Cup Campaign

The Boys in Blue made City history by advancing to the Quarterfinal of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup after defeating D.C. United for the second time this season.

If you couldn't make it out to Audi Field, relive the best moments of the match from pitch side in the Field Level Highlights.

NYCFC took the match thanks to goals from Alexandru Mitriță and Ismael Tajouri-Shradi, who have come up clutch for the City time and time again... Check out Mitri's first five goals from his time in New York.

Another player who came up big for the City was Brad Stuver, what a save...

Hear what the keeper had to say about the teams performance postgame.

Dome was definitely happy with his squad for playing with confidence and keeping their bid for the Open Cup alive.

Clearly the 12th man showed up, way to represent NYCFC on the road!

If you missed the match, here are our Five Points to takeaway from the win!

Check out these pictures from the trip to the nation's capital.

As the tournaments are underway, here's how you can stay up to date with the Academy scores.

Next up, we're headed to Orlando! Let's get it, #ForTheCity!

International Glory

Meanwhile Ronald Matarrita, Sean Johnson, and Alexander Callens are competing in international tournaments for their respective countries. Although we miss them dearly, we enjoy supporting them on their chase for international glory.

Johnson has been rocking with the US Men's National Team as they take on the best of CONCACAF in the Gold Cup! The squad secured the win against Guyana and now move on to Cleveland to face off against Trinidad & Tobago in the next group stage match.

Matarrita is back on the Costa Rican National Team as they too are competing for the Gold Cup. Costa Rica has been undefeated in the Group Stage thus far, defeating Nicaragua and Bermuda. Next on their list is Haiti. Let's go Mata!

On the flip side, Callens and the Peruvian National Team are competing in the Copa America tournament. The Peruvian side is also unbeaten in the Group Stage after settling for a draw against Venezuela and defeating Bolivia 3-1. Peru takes on Brazil in their next match of the competition.

Since the Summer Solstice is upon us, don't miss out on a Summer of Soccer with NYCFC... Mark your Calendars now!

With all the tournaments going on... head to Astoria for our watch party to support the City boys reporting to international duty and the USWNT as they all represent their crest on the big stage!

That's all for now, happy Friday!
