The XI | Big Changes for Pride Night

Stuver Cinci

New York City FC is back at home in the Bronx to celebrate Pride Night the City way!

As the Boys in Blue make their return from a long four-week road stretch, hoping to keep their nine-game unbeaten streak going... With the International Break overlapping the schedule, NYCFC is without four men - Sean Johnson, Alex Callens, Ronald Matarrita, and Ebenezer Ofori.

The big question coming into tonight's match was, who's starting in goal? Well, Dome Torrent called upon Brad Stuver to start at goalkeeper against FC Cincinnati.

Meanwhile, the defense sees the biggest changes. With Callens and Matarrita reporting to international team duty, Maxime Chanot, James Sands, Alex Ring, Tony Rocha and Anton Tinnerholm will make up the defense for NYCFC tonight.

Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Valentin Castellanos return to the Starting XI, adding power to the midfield and frontline with Héber, Moralez and Mitri up ahead.

On the substitute list, Jesus Medina was evaluated this morning by NYCFC’s medical team and was deemed fit enough to play a role from the bench if necessary.

City has a big night ahead of them, in their first-ever meeting with FC Cincinnati...  Let's get it, #ForTheCity!

NYCFC: Stuver, Chanot, Ring (C), Sands, Tinnerholm, Rocha, Tajouri-Shradi, Moralez, Castellanos, Mitriță, Héber
