The XI | Big Three in the Front Line

Heber Start DC

New York City FC is in the nation's capital to take on Wayne Rooney and D.C. United for the second time this season.

The last time the two teams met at Yankee Stadium, the game resulted in a goalless draw in our Home Opener. This time, NYCFC will be boosted by Brazilian striker Héber’s first start.

NYCFC's new forward, who has come on late in the last two games against Montreal Impact and Minnesota United, will be making his first start for the Boys in Blue on the road in D.C.

This is also the first time NYCFC's front line has featured Héber, Alexandru Mitriță, and Maxi Moralez since the Brazilians arrival.

Mitriță also finds himself back in the starting XI, along with Alex Callens who is making his return from injury. Callens hasn't seen the pitch with NYCFC since the team's trip to Toronto in March.

While Callens is healthy again, Valentin Castellanos is listed as out for today's game after suffering a concussion last week. The Argentine forward did not pass the MLS concussion protocol, while Ismael Tajouri-Shradi is missing with an ankle injury sustained in training late in the week.

As NYCFC's hunt for their first win continues, the anticipation to see what Héber can do when paired with Mitriță and Moralez is building. Don't miss out on the big three's first time playing together, tune in to ESPN at 4:00 p.m or listen at NYCFC.com/Radio in English or Spanish.

Let's get this win boys, #ForTheCity!
