ICYMI: Moving on to Minnesota

NYCFC announced the schedule for this year's Borough Nights Series. The first of the five boroughs being celebrated is the Bronx, the first 10,000 people at Yankee Stadium will receive a Bronx Borough Pin to commemorate the five boroughs that make up our great city! Check out the pin designs:

Someone's in the Kitchen... It's Marcus! 


Earlier this week, New York City FC named celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson the Club’s first-ever Chief Culinary Coach! Welcome to the family Marcus, keep the chicken buckets coming! 

It started as a friendship, but now it's grown stronger. Marcus visited NYCFC's training facility and had a chance to attend the training session and show off his moves, on the pitch and in the kitchen.

Mixing it Up for Minnesota 


NYCFC hits the road this weekend to face off against Minnesota United FC as they commemorate the opening of their new stadium, Allianz Field. Here's everything you need to know about the match up and how you can support your Boys in Blue from home! 

After the matchup against Montreal Impact, Sean Johnson touched on how the team has to convert draws into wins moving forward. See for yourself what the big man had to say:

The team has been busy in the lab as they train to head to Minnesota, as Alex Ring said last week - they're keeping things spicy. 

Maxi Moralez, who has been out with lower leg tightness, was back in training this week killing it.

As NYCFC jets off to Minnesota to fight for the first win of the season, Maxime Chanot spoke to reporters and made sure everyone knew that he's not worried, because the wins will come - it's time to flip the switch. 

Meanwhile Dome Torrent had his own perspective going into the match.

Captain Alex Ring celebrated his first birthday as NYCFC's captain, don't forget to wish the Ringleader a happy belated birthday! 

Don't forget to mark your calendars, NYCFC's match against the San Jose Earthquakes, on September 14, has a new kick time at 12:30 p.m. in The Bronx. Don't say we didn't tell you in advance!

Chris Holly, NYCFC's eMLS gamer and the Beast, went head-to-head with Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez in FIFA. Mahrez quickly learned that Holly had skills and that Premier League was more of his domain. Practice makes perfect Riyad!
