Héber has landed! The newly acquired Brazilian striker has joined his fellow teammates at the City Football Academy training facility.
“I’m feeling super motivated for this new challenge in my life,” said Héber. “I hope to reach great things with my new teammates, for this club!”
The Boys in Blue returned from Toronto this afternoon and immediately trained with their new teammate at City Football Academy.
Héber will be assessed by the Club's coaching staff before we know if he'll make his debut vs. Montreal Impact on April 6, but his arrival gives him time to get acclimated with the team and learn the NYCFC way.
“I hope to do great games for NYCFC and help them to win everything they aim to,” said Héber. “On the pitch I’m a player that imposes danger to the opponent inside of the box and will score goals, whenever I’ve got the space for it.”
As we welcome Héber to our great city and his new home, that he has only experienced through movies, he had a few words to share with the fans:
“My message to all the NYCFC is that you can expect the best Heber can give. A player with a lot of willpower, determination and strength on the pitch. I’ll give everything with this shirt, in order to achieve great results for our team! Thank you!”
