Three New York City FC Players Receive U.S. Green Cards

Three New York City FC players have received U.S. Green Cards.

Jesus Medina, Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Anton Tinnerholm have all been granted permanent resident status in the United States, effective immediately.

Each MLS team is allotted eight International Player spots on the roster at the start of each season.

As residents, these three NYCFC players will no longer occupy International Player spots on the roster, meaning NYCFC are now using four out of eight International Player spots.

New York City FC kick off their fifth season on Saturday March 2 with a trip to Orlando, one week before the Home Opener vs. D.C. United at Yankee Stadium on Sunday March 10 at 3pm.
