2019 Home Openers

Major League Soccer announced today that New York City FC will start the 2019 regular season on the road against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 2 at 2:30 pm ET.

NYCFC’s home opener at Yankee Stadium is slated for Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 pm ET against D.C. United.

In addition to the season and home opener announcements – New York City FC will be the opponent for the opening match at Minnesota United FC’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday, April 13 at 5:00 pm ET. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

NYCFC will start the season in Orlando for the third time in the Club’s brief five-season history.

City played their first ever regular season match at Camping World Stadium in Orlando at the start of the 2015 season, where the two upstart expansion franchises finished their respective first run outs with a one-one draw.

The Boys in Blue are undefeated against D.C. United at Yankee Stadium while City dropped their only meeting in Minnesota this past season.
