NYCFC Partner with Paranoid Fan to Navigate Gameday Experiences

Yankee Stadium

New York City FC are pleased to announce a new partnership with Paranoid Fan, a mapping platform that helps fans navigate their game day experiences.

The Paranoid Fan mapping platform helps users discover what is happening around their location with the use of emoji maps. The emojis are used to identify points of interest such as tickets, concessions, merchandise and fan zones.

The idea of Paranoid Fan originated at the 2014 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Paranoid Fan is a graduate of the Techstars Connection program in New York City and received seed funding from Techstars and ZX Ventures, the venture capital arm of AB InBev last year. Today, Paranoid Fan works with more than 80 teams and clubs all over the world.

“Paranoid Fan is very excited to kick off our entry into Major League Soccer with NYCFC.  We feel this new partnership and evolution of our platform will continue to lay the groundwork for our mission which is to improve the fan’s live experience,” says Agustin Gonzalez, Paranoid Fan’s CEO.

The mapping platform is now live on NYCFC.com/Matchday ahead of Fan Appreciation Day this Sunday where fans can see the location of the Fan Fest prior to kick off as well as all concession stands and utilities.
