Another three game week heading for round three, yet the Boys in Blue are feeling healthy as they head to the Land of 10,000 Lakes to take on the Loons of Minnesota United FC.


The good news: Jesus is back! And after hearing Dome’s press conference post 2-0 dismantling of the Chicago Fire on Wednesday evening, it sounds like he could be in line to attack the turf at the TCF Stadium.

  • New York City won the only previous MLS matchup between the two sides – 3-1 at Yankee Stadium in June 2017.
  • Minnesota’s 3-2 win over Portland snapped a seven-game winless run in league play. They averaged just 1.0 goals per game in that time.
  • NYCFC snapped a six-game winless run (3L-3D) with their 2-0 win over Chicago on Wednesday. The Cityzens failed to score multiple goals once during their winless run.
  • Minnesota has won just one penalty this season. Since 2010, only nine teams have finished a MLS campaign with one-or-fewer penalties won.
