NYCFC will continue to move forward with momentum after a scintillating 2-2 draw vs. LAFC last weekend.
The bill of health came back clean after Maxime Chanot was forced to miss out late in Los Angeles. Now it’s all hands to the pump for a big return home to the Bronx, where the last time around we defeated the Rapids to the tune of 5-1 behind the club’s first-ever hat-trick from Frank Lampard.

- This will be just the fourth meeting all-time between NYCFC and Colorado. The Cityzens have yet to taste defeat against the Rapids (1W-2D) – the lone win coming in a 5-1 thrashing at home in 2016.
- After starting the season by winning five of their first six games, NYCFC has won just one of their last five league games (2L-2D), allowing an average of 2.4 goals per game.
- The Rapids have lost four straight league games, getting outscored 8-2 in the process. They have not lost five straight since Apr. 9-May 5, 2017 (35 games since).
- NYCFC have conceded six headed goals this year, the most in MLS. Colorado have conceded just one headed goal so far this year, tied for the second fewest in the league.
