Brentford’s Latest Mascot

Nick Goff thought his stag do was simply going to be attending Saturday's Championship game between Brentford and Bolton alongside his mates. Little did he know his friends signed him up to be one of Brentford’s matchday mascots as a stag do prank. The Brentford Junior Matchday Experience is typically enjoyed by young kids, so the sight of a grown man in a full kit walking alongside players of the same height certainly didn’t go unnoticed…

One Bizarre Send Off

Well, this may be a first. Ref runs ino a player. Both fall over. Ref kicks at said player, and follows up with a second yellow card to send the Nantes player off. Take a look for yourself…

Have you ever seen a referee kick a player AND then send him off?! 🔴

The French football league has since rescinded the second yellow card for Diego Carlos and referee Tony Chapron has been suspended.

Football Firsts for Saudi Arabia

For the first time, Saudi Arabia allowed women to attend a football game as part of an easing of strict rules on gender separation in the conservative country. Female fans filed into a stadium in the city of Jeddah, through family gates into family seating as the match marked a significant step for women in Saudi Arabia. Take at look at some of the scenes below.

The New Nutmeg

A couple weeks ago back on Trending, we saw Raheem Sterling pull off some savage nutmegs on his son. This week, I think this guy might have just made a new sport...

Startin' them young

This little guy is already so cool and we'll probably see him in the World Cup in 20 years.
