9 Reasons to Attend: NYCFC v. Columbus

9 reasons clb

Suddenly, it's that time of year again. NYCFC heads over to Citi Field to take on Columbus Crew SC on Decision Day.

Here are nine reasons to come witness the action:

  1. It's fan appreciation day! Get out there and let us appreciate you!
  2. It's the final regular season match of the year! There's no doubt about it, you're going to miss it when it's gone.
  3. Come experience Citi Field! This is a chance for our Queens faithful to show the rest of NYC what you've got!
  4. If you're from another borough, this is an awesome chance to come experience a fun, vibrant area of the city.
  5. Jack Harrison's red card has been rescinded! Now, he's set up to make his 50th regular season start for NYCFC this weekend.
  6. It's crunch time. With a win, City clinches second place in the Eastern Conference (and the league) as well as a first-round playoff bye.
  7. The Blues faced the Crew on the final day of last season, too. It finished 4-1 to the good guys and four different City players scored.
  8. There really is a lot on the line this weekend. With a loss, NYCFC could sink to fifth place đŸ˜± so we truly need the City faithful to come out and sing us to victory.
  9. The weather has finally turned to Fall, and there's no better way to welcome the season of cider, pretty leaves, sweaters, and playoff soccer than by singing your heart out.
