We're down to the final week at NYCFC House - the club's first-ever pop-up shop - but we're closing it out with a list of fun events and player appearances. 


In case you missed it, last week we heard Chalk Talks from NYCFC Director of Operations, Matt Pellegrino, Manager of Youth Programs, Brian Walsh, NYCFC Team Doctor, Chris Ahmad, MLS Commissioner, Don Garber, and Youth Technical Director, Rodrigo Marion


What else is happening over the next seven days? Here's a breakdown of what you can expect during NYCFC's last week:


Thursday, September 14


Chalk Talk: New Technologies will change how we watch and experience live sports
Panel Discussion: Jon Patricof (NYCFC), Julie Souza, and Chris Schlosser (MLS Digital)
Time: 1pm
Find out from Souza why LA Clippers owner and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer thinks new technologies could change the way we view sports forever. Hear from Schlosser about how MLS is adapting new technologies to gaming and futuristic viewing.


Soccer Program: Passing
Time: 3 - 6pm
Find the gaps between the mannequins to see how accurate you can be! The player that earns the highest score each day will win a prize. Ages 5-14 only. RSVP must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian must accompany the participating child to the event. Children who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be authorized to participate in the event.

Chalk Talk: 30 for 30 - The Secret to Making a Great Sports Movie
Speaker: Adam Neuhaus, Director of Development, ESPN Films
Time: 12pm
Join Adam Neuhaus as he talks about the secrets & stories behind what it has taken to make the films that make up the highly acclaimed 30 for 30. Find out what it takes to make a great sports film and how the 30 for 30 has revolutionized the genre of sports documentary filmmaking.

Soccer Program: Ball Mastery
Time: 3 - 6pm
Weave in and out of the mannequins and test your dexterity! The player that earns the highest score each day will win a prize. Ages 5-14 only. RSVP must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian must accompany the participating child to the event. Children who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be authorized to participate in the event.


Saturday, September 16


Special Event: Can You Defeat Chris Holly at FIFA 17?
Time: 6pm 
Test your FIFA 17 skills against Chris Holly, New York City's pro player, at NYCFC House. Concede three goals and you're out!


Player Appearance: Ethan White
Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Meet NYCFC defender, Ethan White, at NYCFC House!


Soccer Program: Speed of Movement & Finishing
Time: 12 - 6pm
Race through the mannequins to see how fast you can go. Test your speed and finishing abilities!The player that earns the highest score each day will win a prize. Ages 5-14 only. RSVP must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian must accompany the participating child to the event. Children who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be authorized to participate in the event.


Sunday, September 17


Chalk Talk: Soccer in the Community
Speaker: Paul Jeffries, Director of Community Development, NYCFC
Time: 12pm
From day one NYCFC has put community at the heart of the Club and is the proud supporter of City in the Community, an award winning 501c3 Charity that empowers youth to lead better lives through soccer. This chalk talk will provide an overview of the impact of its work in New York, and frame a discussion on how fans can get involved.

Monday, September 18


Chalk Talk: Red Cards, Replay and Refereeing
Speaker: Howard Webb and Peter Walton, ProReferees
Time: 1pm
Join former Premier League, World Cup and Champions League referees Howard Webb and Peter Walton for a lively discussion on the global game and the state of refereeing in the US and around the world.


Soccer Program: Ball Mastery
Time: 3 - 6pm

Tuesday, September 19


Special Event: City in the Community Fundraiser
Time: 6pm - 8pm 
Tickets: $250 individual, $2,500 for Host Committee (includes 4 tickets)

Wednesday, September 20


Player Appearance: Rodney Wallace
Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Meet NYCFC forward, Rodney Wallace, at NYCFC House!


Live Taping: Soccer in the City Podcast
Recapping: NYCFC vs Colorado Rapids
Time: 5 - 6pm
The English and Spanish radio voices of NYCFC, Glenn Crooks and Roberto Abramowitz will be in person producing the show with Tom Kolker and John Rojas joining via skype. Fans are invited to not only listen to the taping but are encouraged to participate by asking questions to be answered live as a part of that week’s episode.


Soccer Program: Finishing
Time: 3 - 6pm
Test your speed and finishing abilities! The player that earns the highest score each day will win a prize. Ages 5-14 only. RSVP must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
