We’re finally back from the international break and club football is rip roaring again from continent to continent.

Let’s have a whip around the wonderful world of football on the internet to see what’s making waves these days…

Ready for Battle

The football world’s favorite Argentine lower division club – Sacachispas – was back at it again at Copa Argentina’s Round of 32 the other day.

Sacachispas – which garnered world wide web fame after running onto the pitch for a Copa Argentina match wearing superhero masks - returned to dominance in the pre-match costume game by running out of the tunnel with plastic swords and shields and gladiator helmets.

Unfortunately – their pre-match intimidation tactics fell short on this occasion – but we look forward to what they are going cook up next year!

Luke… I Am Your Favorite Football Club

Mark Hamill – the actor that played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films and returned for The Force Awakens two years ago – has found himself a new favorite football club.

The actor is already a big fan of the wild animal version of Wolves, and after one of his nearly 2m followers asked him if he was a fan of Wolves, Skywalker liked the tweet and the Championship side’s supporters took the bait.

Other Wolves fans piled on – and the rest is history:

The force is strong at Molineux.

While the club is already busy taking care of refunds and replacements for all those new kits affected – they came up with a mighty clever way to get rid of a large number of these shirts…

Shipping them all to the town of Montpelier, Vermont in the US.

The Chaaampioooooons…
