Patrick Vieira will be without six players for NYCFC’s Sunday evening showdown with the New England Revolution.
Long-term injury absentees Miguel Camargo and Ronald Matarrita are out, while Maxime Chanot will also be on the sidelines for the visit of Jay Heaps’ side.
James Sands has recovered from the injury which kept him out of the last handful of games but has left New York to join up with the U.S U17s for their U17 World Cup preparations in Prague.

Both Alex Ring and Ethan White are also out of this one as they sit out through suspensions for yellow card accumulation.
On the plus side, Rodney Wallace is now rated as fully-fit and will be in contention for a place in Vieira’s XI at the weekend and Maxi Moralez returns from suspension as NYCFC aim to make it three wins on the spin.
For New England, there could be a couple of debutants lining up in opposition, with Claude Dielna and Krisztian Nemeth both joining Revs training this week.
Otherwise, Heaps will have a full strength squad to choose from as he looks to continue New England’s run of three wins in their last four games.
