Shannon Gomez has joined Pittsburgh Riverhounds on loan.
The Trinidadian NYCFC defender will spend the remainder of the 2017 campaign with the USL side after agreeing terms on a temporary switch.
Gomez joined NYCFC permanently from W Connection in the offseason following a year-long loan in 2016 when he made his debut in the US Open Cup against New York Cosmos.
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are currently positioned in ninth place in the USL Eastern Conference with a 5-6-4 record through 15 games.
They are coached by Dave Brandt and play out of the 3,500 capacity High Mark Stadium in Pennsylvania.
As part of the terms of this loan deal, Gomez can be recalled by NYCFC at any time.
Everyone at New York City FC would like to wish Shannon all the best for his loan spell.
