Injury Report | Matarrita is Back

IR Mata return

New York City FC are back in action just three days after taking down the Eastern Conference leaders. Now the team turns their attention to the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday night in the Bronx.

The team defeated the Union without seven players but Ronald Matarrita will make his NYCFC return in time for Seattle after representing the Costa Rican National Team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

With Matarrita's return, only six players remain out for the match against the Sounders. Alex Callens and the Peruvian National Team headed to the semifinals of the Copa America tournament. Meanwhile, Sean Johnson and the US Men's National Team are headed to the semifinals of the Gold Cup.

Now only two internationals remain on the road, while injuries keep Héber, James Sands, Joe Scally, and Tony Rocha on the sidelines for the matchup.

Don't miss out on the action as the Boys in Blue look to extend their unbeaten streak Wednesday night.
