NYCFC are taking the trip to Texas to take on FC Dallas for the first and only time this season.

Let's find out some of the key numbers, find out what's changed at Columbus Crew since our last visit, and discover how they've been performing so far in 2017...

Key Stats

  • This will be only the third MLS meeting between the two teams (FC Dallas have won one and there was one draw). FC Dallas triumphed 2-1 in the only prior MLS game played between the two teams in Texas (September 12, 2015).
  • FC Dallas is now unbeaten in 13 consecutive MLS games (7W-6D). They have kept clean sheets in seven of those matches and allowed multiple goals in only two of them (eight total goals conceded).
  • NYCFC has won consecutive away games and three of their last six road league matches. They have won three straight MLS road games only once in franchise history (June 6-July 4, 2015).
  • Rodney Wallace scored and had two assists against Atlanta United FC, becoming just the second player in NYCFC franchise history to score a goal and have multiple assists in the same game (Maxi Moralez also did it earlier this year against D.C. United).
  • FC Dallas has only conceded two goals on the road, the fewest in MLS. They are the only club without a road loss to this point in the season.
  • Maxi Moralez is tied for seventh this season with 20 chances created.
  • NYCFC leads the MLS in possession as they have held the ball for 59.7% of the games they have played. FC Dallas has the third-lowest possession with just 42.3% this year.
  • FC Dallas has taken just 102 shots (inc. blocks) this season, the sixth-fewest in MLS. However, their shot conversion rate (inc. blocks) (12.8%) is the eighth-best in the league.
  • David Villa has 47 goals since joining MLS in 2015. He needs just three goals to join the 50 goal club. Villa would be just the 22nd player to join that club.

The Last Time

Tommy McNamara and Khiry Shelton scored in each half to a 2-2 draw against FC Dallas at Yankee Stadium in September last year.

The Last Game

FC Dallas won 3-0 over Real Salt Lake in Utah to remain the only unbeaten team in MLS. Maxi Urruti notched his second brace of the season while captain Matt Hedges headed home his first of the season.

Recent Form

FC Dallas are 5W-3D-0L for 2017 and have not lost a game this season so far.
