It was a preseason to remember for one group of City Members in Tucson.
Granted incredible access to the team, these intrepid NYCFC fans traveled to Arizona to support the team as they completed their preparations for the 2017 MLS Season.
As part of this City Members only package, supporters were invited to watch Head Coach Patrick Vieira putting his players through their paces on the training field and also attended a special NYCFC Social at the team hotel where they got the opportunity to meet and greet with their heroes.
In addition to this, the City Members watched NYCFC’s entertaining Desert Diamond Cup clash against Houston Dynamo and received a Swag Bag which included the new home kit.
For supporter Ahmed Fatouh, it was a “truly amazing” experience that he’ll never forget.
He told NYCFC.com: “My son can't stop talking about how this was the ‘best vacation ever!’
“We really had a great time and it really was a unique experience.
“I think seeing the players at practice, attending the dinner, and going to the game was truly amazing. The finale where we met the players and talked to them in a casual environment was the best part of the weekend. The players were all so nice to us and it was the best trip a dad could have with his son.”
For another fan, Chris Lazarte, the next NYCFC event can’t come soon enough.
“We had such a great time in Tucson and every day was a memorable experience,” Chris said.
“We look forward to attending the next event! It has definitely reinforced our commitment as loyal fans to the club. From the experience we feel the NYCFC organization really cares about its fans.”
