Jack Harrison: King of Surprises

Jack Surprises

When it comes to surprise visits, Jack Harrison has got serious form.

The NYCFC winger, who was nominated for Rookie of the Year in his breakout season, has just touched down in Spain for the first part of his offseason break.

Surprising his grandparents who live in San Miguel De Las Salinas on the Costa Blanca region of the Alicante province, Jack recorded their shocked reactions and posted them to Instagram on Wednesday.

Part Two

It’s not the first time Jack has turned up unexpectedly to delight his family members…

Back in 2015, he did the very same thing to “Mumsi” – Debbie Harrison – before the SuperDraft in Maryland.

Her reaction was priceless…

The 20-year old had stayed in New York following the MLS Season and was present at David Villa’s MVP coronation in Manhattan on Tuesday.

Speaking to the NYCFC media team on his offseason plans, Jack certainly didn’t mention anything about Spain, perhaps fearing that we might let the cat out of the bag.

Jack told us: “I’m trying to find things to do with my time – I’m trying to get my groin right and to do my rehab to right for the new season.”

I guess we’ll let him off.

Jack Harrison, NYCFC’s King of Surprises – long may he reign…
