Eirik Johansen has moved on to the finals of MLS Save of the Week for week 34 after being nominated for the very first time.
Johansen's fourth-minute stop from Hector Jiminez was vital in helping NYCFC to a 4-1 win against Columbus Crew SC this past Sunday at Yankee Stadium. The team's victory set them straight through to the Eastern Conference semifinal.
