2.The matchup features two players who are out to a quick start, NYCFC’s David Villa and Orlando City SC’s Cyle Larin both have scored two goals so far this season.


3.Battle of unbeaten teams: Both teams have yet to lose a match. NYCFC has one win and one draw, while Orlando SC has two draws.









4.Villa has now scored 20 MLS goals, 13 of those goals have come at home. Villa has scored in seven of his last eight home matches dating back to last season (a grand total of 10 goals during that eight game stretch)


5.Both teams have played a common foe already, NYCFC opened the season against Chicago with a 4-3 victory while Orlando City SC played Chicago to a 1-1 draw.

6.Cyle Larin has been on fire, he has scored in both of his matches this season. Larin has eight goals in his last six MLS matches.


7.Both clubs were expansions teams last year and have now developed a rivalry. Both teams played each other on three separate occasions, resulting in one win, one loss and a draw for NYCFC. All three matches were heated.
