The 32-year-old midfielder scored his first two goals for the Club in the 3-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium.

After putting New York City FC up 1-0 in the 51st minute, Grabavoy doubled the advantage in the 63rd. Chris Wingert got the ball and passed it to Mix Diskerud, who had his heels on the right sideline. Mix took a touch and fed it to Frank Lampard who was running toward him. Lampard drove up the right sideline, beat a defender and crossed the ball near the end line to the 6-yard box that Grabavoy headed home for a two-goal victory.

It was Grabavoy's first brace since May 19, 2013.

Grabavoy, who was also named to MLS Team of the Week (Week 29), is up for the honor along with Dom Dwyer (Sporting KC), Felipe (New York Red Bulls), Mike Grella (New York Red Bulls) and Gonzalo Pineda (Seattle Sounders).

Voting runs until 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday
