New York City FC at Philadelphia Union: Spotlight on David Villa

David Villa scores against Philadelphia Union

New York City FC captain David Villa returned to the starting lineup for their match at Philadelphia on April 11 after missing the Club's last match with an injury. The forward didn't miss a beat, putting on a clinic of backheel passes and also scoring a goal.

Villa was part of the buildup and, ultimately, the finish to New York City FC's match-tying goal in the 55th minute in the 2-1 defeat to the Union at PPL Park.
