NewYork-Presbyterian Named Training Wear Sponsor of New York City FC

New York City FC, the new Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise who kicked off their inaugural season Sunday in Orlando, have announced that Founding Sponsor NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has strengthened its relationship with the Club. NewYork-Presbyterian’s logo will appear on New York City FC’s training shirts, which fans can see for the first time as the team warms up for the Club’s Historic Home Opener in Yankee Stadium against the New England Revolution.

The training gear, which will be available to purchase, will showcase the relationship between the Club and one of their first Founding Sponsors. New York City FC is amongst the first MLS clubs to feature a sponsor on their training uniform.

Tom Glick, President of New York City FC, said:

“NewYork-Presbyterian is part of the fabric of New York. We were delighted to welcome them to our partner family last October and we are even more pleased that we have broadened our relationship, which will see NewYork-Presbyterian on all of our training gear. This is both an alliance which shows the belief which NewYork-Presbyterian has in our Club, and also one which allows us to showcase an iconic part of the New York community with immense pride.”

“New York City FC’s home opener on Sunday will be an exciting moment for New York City and our Hospital,” said Dr. Steven J. Corwin, CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. “We are extremely pleased about our partnership with New York City FC, and we wish the Club best of luck in their inaugural season.”
