The accolades continue to come through for New York City FC's Mix Diskerud.
The midfielder, who scored his first Major League Soccer goal and the first ever in Club history, has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in New York City FC's 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC in front of 62,510 on Sunday afternoon at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
Along with his goal, Mix had 83 touches during his MLS debut with a 96-percent pass accuracy.
The 24-year-old member of the United States national team was also nominated for the MLS AT&T Goal of the Week for his 76th minute finish.
