David Villa was at it again for Melbourne City on Sunday.

The star Spanish striker earned his first start for the Australian side and scored another equalizer to make sure the home team earned a share of the spoils against Newcastle Jets in front of a record crowd at AAMI Park. The goal was Villa's second in as many matches.

Frank Lampard also earned the start for Manchester City against Tottenham at the Etihad on Saturday. The English midfielder assisted on Sergio Aguero's first goal and earned the penalty that set up his second of an eventual four goals on the day. Lampard left the match in the 27th minute with a thigh strain and did not travel to Moscow for MCFC's Champions League matchup with CSKA on Tuesday.

Josh Saunders went another full 90 in net for the San Antonio Scorpions in a 1-0 loss to the Indy Eleven. The loss was only San Antonio's second on the road this season.
