2020: The Libyan international registered three goals and one assist in fifteen games in 2020 but was restricted to just six starts during the regular season. He was hugely influential in the 4-1 win against D.C. United, during which he netted twice.
2019: Tajouri-Shradi played 19 matches, scoring 5 goals and logging four assists for the season. Though he was sidelined for a long stretch of the campaign with an ankle injury, he still played a vital role in City’s offensive efforts. He scored the team’s lone goal in the MLS Cup Playoffs in classic Isi fashion, arriving at the back post to fire in a Maxi Moralez cross. Now injury-free, the Libyan international will look to stay healthy and contribute more in his third season at NYCFC.
2018: Ismael Tajouri-Shradi joined New York City FC as the Club's sixth offseason signing on January 12, 2018. The man known as “Isi” showed his smooth skills and finishing touches early on in training camp, and would go on to score 11 on the season and tally three assists along the way. His dynamic play on the wing would result in Tajouri-Shradi being named NYCFC Newcomer Of The Year. His first-time strike in the Knockout Round vs. Philadelphia helped NYCFC to it’s first playoff win in Club history.
2015-2018: Tajouri-Shradi became a first-team regular at Austria Wien, the 24-time Austrian champions. Ismael made 96 top-flight appearances in total before joining NYCFC, appearing in two Europa League campaigns.
2014-2015: A loan spell at Rheindorf Altach made Tajouri-Shradi's name as he helped the 1.Liga team to promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga in a two and a half year temporary move.
2012-2013: Ismael came through the youth ranks at Austria Wien, making 48 appearances for Austria Wien II in the Regional Liga between the 2011/12 - 2013/14 seasons.
