2019: The defender played and started in 31 matches for NYCFC, racking up 2,790 minutes for the season. His consistency in the backline and his leadership in the locker room earned him the title of NYCFC's Defender of the Year for the 2019 season.
2018: Maxime Chanot played and started in eighteen matches across the 2018 campaign. The Luxembourgian would also score for his home country in international competition. In 19 appearances, the center back scored a pair of goals and looks set to make a big impact in 2018.
