2016: Andrea built upon a great start at Yankee Stadium with more of the same in 2016, completing a team-high 11 MLS assists in his 33 games. Pirlo scored his first NYCFC goal with a trademark free-kick in the 3-2 win over Philadelphia in June and made the MLS All-Star team. Pirlo missed the first leg defeat to Toronto in NYCFC’s first-ever MLS Playoffs game through injury but will be back for 2017.
