The XI | Parks and Mitriță Return for Conference Semifinal

XI Keaton Toronto

It's MLS Cup Playoffs time and the team news is in.

Luckily for Dome Torrent, his squad has a clean bill of health, meaning Keaton Parks and Alexandru Mitriță, who were out for the Season 5 finale at Philadelphia, are back in the midfield for tonight's match.

Héber, who suffered an injury before the match against the Union, is on the bench to start the night but he could come on at any point for City.

Torrent told reporters yesterday, "Héber is ready to play. I don’t know if maybe he’ll start to play, maybe he can play 30 to 40 minutes, but he’s not injured right now. It’s good news for us." So there's a good chance the team's lead-scorer could take the pitch tonight.

Along with Héber, James Sands is also on the bench and will be an option for Torrent.

With the single-elimination format, NYCFC is ready to put this City on their back and leave it all on the pitch tonight.

In the words of Sean Johnson, "I think we’re ready, like I said if you can’t get up for the Eastern Conference Semifinal then you shouldn’t be here, you shouldn’t be playing here at this point of the year... We have a group that has shown up time and time again when questions were asked and we’ve answered them. We’ve got to do that again tomorrow night and we can do that going forward if we want to hoist the trophy.”

It's time to fight to #MakeItHere.

NYCFC XI: Johnson, Tinnerholm, Chanot, Callens, Matarrita, Ring (C), Parks, Moralez, Tajouri-Shradi, Mitriță, Castellanos

Subs: Stuver, Sweat, Ibeagha, Sands, Rocha, Mackay-Steven, Héber
