New York City Football Club is pleased to confirm that three of its players have been nominated for the Concacaf Men’s Best XI awards.

Club captain Sean Johnson, Homegrown James Sands, and forward Taty Castellanos all earned a place on the ballot which looks to crown the best XI consisting of players based in Concacaf playing either internationally or domestically.

The trio made a significant contribution to NYCFC claiming their first-ever MLS Cup trophy last season, while there was also international success for Johnson and Sands.

The duo helped the United States Men’s National Team secure the Gold Cup trophy against Mexico in August.

Everyone at the Club would like to extend their congratulations to the three men and wish them luck.
