Saturday evening's New York Derby between the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC has been postponed due to an unplayable field at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.
Kickoff, originally scheduled for 8:25 pm ET, was delayed for more than two hours due to severe weather in the area. A revised kickoff time was then determined, but the on-site match officials determined that the field was not safe to play.
The rescheduled date and time will be announced at a later date.
